Michael Jackson’s estate prevents auction of late singer’s ‘extremely rare and unreleased’ recordings, alleging that the songs were stolen.

The estate of Michael Jackson successfully stopped the sale of unreleased recordings by the late singer. Gotta Have Rock and Roll had planned to auction the tapes but were threatened with a lawsuit by the estate. They were instructed to stop the auction and return the recordings. Despite the threats, the auction house refused to comply and even announced their intention to file a lawsuit. Consequently, the tapes were removed from sale. Meanwhile, Jackson’s nephew Jaafar will portray his uncle in an upcoming biopic called “Michael,” produced by GK Films, which will cover the singer’s life from childhood through his death.
