Pikachu fountain erupts during rural Iowa fireworks display

Jennifer captured this moment at her private home in rural Iowa during a Fourth of July party. The clip shows a Pikachu-shaped fountain igniting on the ground, sending a steady spray of sparks upward before growing taller and wider. Bright bursts fan out above the character’s head, creating a dramatic visual contrast between the playful design and the sheer scale of the light show.

This video travels because it subverts expectations of small novelty fireworks. Viewers anticipate a modest display but are treated to a roaring, expansive eruption that dominates the frame. The humor arises from the juxtaposition of a beloved cartoon mascot with the raw power of pyrotechnics. As the sparks taper off and the light fades, the quiet backyard scene settles, leaving a memorable image of chaotic fun.
