Rescued duckling takes first steps into water
Three mallard ducklings were pulled from a drainpipe in Somerset before rejoining their siblings on the pond.
Tracy at Everards Farm in Chewton Mendip noticed a drop in her duckling count. After hearing cheeping from a drain, she discovered three trapped mallards. They were carefully extracted and placed at the water's edge, where they immediately began paddling.
